BM Enterprises Refractory Mortar 40 is a specialised jointing mortar with a 40% alumina that is formulated to provide robust adhesion between the bricks in boilers, furnaces, kilns, incinerators, and high-temperature industrial linings. Due to its superior adhesive qualities and thermal resistance, this product can be used for joint filling, repair of hot face lining, repairing cracks, and building refractory structures where conventional cement would fail. The composition of the mortar includes Al?O? at a level of about 38 to 40%, an operating temperature range of 1400-1600°C, particle size not exceeding 1 mm, and a recommended joint thickness of 2-5 mm. This mortar demonstrates superb flexibility, does not contract, has ceramic-type bonding strength, and can withstand multiple heating and cooling procedures without cracking.
